Holy Crap!
One shot HDR with the Fuji S5. see below on why this camera is so incredible.
Exhibit A is a photograph of a recent hack here at MIT. It is an HDR blended image; as such, it’s not suitable for publication in a newspaper — being bad photojournalism.
Exhibit B, here, is the straight-out-of-camera exposure from the Fuji S5 — exposed so that the histogram shows everything just barely at the ends.
…and up top we have the same image after a little tweaking in Adobe Camera Raw. Being analgous to what you might do in the darkroom, the image is perfectly printable. And the colors are a lot better than anything you’d get out of Nikon.
